Tampa Bay Excursions

Fort DeSoto County Park, located off the coast of St. Petersburg at the mouth of Tampa Bay, is made up of five islands (keys) and features spectacular beaches and parkland. The main island, Mullet Key, is the southrnmost island and home to the old fort that was built during the Spanish-American War in the late 1890's.

Fort DeSoto's North Beach has been named America's Top Beach the last two years running; 2008 and 2009!
